User Similarity on Yelp

This study explores the way users of the review website Yelp interact with one another and assess similarity based on profile pages. Participants must be users of the review website Yelp and will be given free pizza voucher gifts for Vivo (one of the very good Italian restaurants in Upper street, London). Each sessions will take about 20-25 minutes to complete and study sessions will take place in City University London (between 23/02 - 13/03/2015).

Dara Sherwani is a PhD candidate in the Centre for Human Computer Interaction Design, City University London. He is interested in exploring the way users interact with one another on online communities and how the similarity between users can influence this interaction.
